1. Agreement

By using Is This Safe («the App»), including its Safari extension, you agree to these Terms of Service and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement Apple’s agreement.

2. What the App Does

Is This Safe provides two main features:

• Image Analysis: Analyzes screenshots you submit and provides AI-powered safety assessments to help you identify potentially harmful content like scams, phishing attempts, or suspicious messages.
• Safari Extension: Analyzes web pages you visit in real-time to detect potential scams, phishing sites, and security threats while you browse.

3. Important Disclaimer

The App provides automated assessments that may not always be accurate. AI can make mistakes and may produce false positives or miss actual threats. The App does not provide professional advice (legal, financial, or cybersecurity). You are solely responsible for your actions and decisions after receiving an assessment. We are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on the App’s analysis.

4. Your License to Use the App

You may use the App and Safari extension for personal, non-commercial purposes on your Apple devices. This license is non-transferable and can be revoked if you violate these terms.

5. Fair Use Policy

Paid subscribers get unlimited scans and web page analysis for normal personal use. We may limit accounts that:

• Submit more than 1,000 scans in 24 hours
• Use automated tools or bots
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the service
• Abuse the Safari extension for commercial purposes

6. Safari Extension Usage

By enabling the Safari extension, you acknowledge that:

• The extension requires permission to read web page content to perform security analysis
• Analysis happens in real-time as you browse
• The extension is designed for personal protection and should not be used for commercial monitoring or data collection
• You can disable the extension at any time through Safari settings

7. Subscription Terms

Free Trial: 7 days, cancel anytime before trial ends to avoid charges

Billing: Managed by Apple through In-App Purchase, auto-renews unless cancelled

Cancellation: Manage through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

Refunds: Handled exclusively by Apple according to their policies

8. Privacy

Your screenshots are analyzed once and immediately deleted. Web page content is analyzed in real-time and never stored. See our Privacy Policy for complete details about data handling.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are owned by Javier Gallo Roca. You grant us permission to process your screenshots and web page content solely to provide the safety assessment service.

10. App Updates and Termination

We may update or discontinue the App or Safari extension at any time. You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription through Apple.

11. Limitation of Liability

Use at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide the App «as is» without warranties and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages from relying on incorrect assessments, missed threats, or false warnings.

12. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App and Safari extension legally and appropriately
• Not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service
• Not rely solely on the App for security decisions
• Hold us harmless for any claims arising from your misuse of the App

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Colombian law. Disputes will be resolved in Bogotá, Colombia courts, except where Apple’s terms specify otherwise.
