1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

• Image Analysis: When you scan content using the app, we temporarily process your screenshot or image to provide a safety assessment. Screenshots are automatically deleted within seconds after analysis.
• Safari Extension: When you use our Safari extension, we analyze the content of web pages you visit to detect potential scams and security threats. We do NOT store the actual content of pages, form data, passwords, or personal information entered on websites. We may temporarily store the domain and path of visited pages, along with visit timestamps, to optimize performance through caching. This information is stored anonymously.
• Subscription Information: We collect anonymous subscription data (purchase receipts, subscription status) through Apple and RevenueCat to manage your account and prevent fraud.
• Usage & Diagnostics: We collect minimal, non-personal usage statistics (device type, app version, error logs) via Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve its functionality.
• Advertising & Attribution Data (New): We use the Facebook SDK (Meta) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. If you grant permission via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, we may collect your Device Identifier (IDFA) and data about your interactions with the app (such as app installs or purchases) to attribute them to our ads.

We do NOT collect: Your name, email, phone number, specific contacts, browsing history details (beyond the anonymous safety check), form submissions, or passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Images: Analyzed once by AI to generate safety assessments, then immediately deleted.
• Web page content: Analyzed in real-time to detect scams and threats, never stored.
• Domain and path data: Used anonymously for performance optimization only.
• Subscription data: To verify your subscription status and manage billing.
• Usage data: To improve app performance and prevent abuse.
• Advertising data: To measure ad performance and attribute app installations to marketing campaigns (e.g., understanding if you installed the app after seeing our ad on Facebook/Instagram).

4. Data Sharing

We work with these service providers:

• Google Cloud/Gemini: Processes images and web content for AI analysis (data deleted immediately).
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription verification.
• Apple: Handles billing and purchases.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook): We share technical identifiers (like device ID) and app event data (like «App Install» or «Purchase») to measure ad effectiveness. This sharing only occurs if you have explicitly allowed tracking in the app settings.

We never sell your personal data (name, email, content) to third parties.

5. Data Retention

• Images and web page content: Deleted within seconds.
• Domain and path data: Domains are stored permanently for performance optimization; visit timestamps are not retained.
• Usage logs: Deleted after 30 days.
• Subscription data: Retained as required by Apple and tax regulations.

6. Your Rights & Choices

• App Tracking Transparency (iOS): Upon launching the app, you may be asked for permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. You can select «Ask App Not to Track» to deny this permission. This will prevent your Device ID (IDFA) from being shared with Meta for advertising attribution purposes.
• Opt-out: You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can also disable the Safari extension at any time through Safari settings.
• Anonymous Data: Because most of our data is collected anonymously without personal identifiers (like names or emails), we cannot link stored information to individual users or delete specific user data upon request. You maintain control by disabling the extension or uninstalling the app.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission and secure cloud infrastructure. All web content analysis happens securely and ephemerally.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or European Union through our service providers (Google, Meta, RevenueCat), who comply with applicable privacy laws.

10. Safari Extension Permissions

Our Safari extension requires permission to read web page content to analyze it for potential threats. This permission is used solely for security analysis purposes. The extension does not track your browsing history for advertising or monitor your online activities beyond the real-time safety analysis.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app and update the «Last updated» date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
